Both are still being built, so these pages describe what is coming rather than claiming to work today. The image tools and the widget builder are live now if you need something in the meantime.

Why publish pages for video tools that do not work yet?
Because the alternative is a section that appears out of nowhere on launch day. Both pages set out the formats, the limits and the tradeoffs already settled on, which is also the fastest way for someone to tell us we picked wrong before the code is written. Neither page pretends to have a working editor behind it.
Will the video tools be free?
Yes, on the same terms as the rest of the site: free to use, no account, no watermark burned into the output and no paid tier holding the export back. That is the model for Zyff as a whole, not an introductory offer on a new section.
How will Zyff handle my video files?
The same way the image tools already do. Uploads are processed in memory on Zyff's servers and are never stored, so a trimmed clip comes straight back to your browser and nothing is filed away behind an account.
What is the difference between trimming a video and converting it to a GIF?
Trimming changes only the in and out points and leaves you a video, with sound. Converting to a GIF drops the audio and re-encodes the frames as a looping image that plays anywhere an image does. GIF is good for a few seconds of motion and bad for anything long.
Why does Zyff process video on its servers?
Video work is heavy enough to lock up a phone while it runs, and which codecs a device can handle changes from one to the next. Doing it server-side means one encoder, the same output for every visitor, and one place where input limits are actually enforced.
When will the video tools launch?
There is no announced date. Zyff ships in small batches, with the image tools and the widget builder first, and each tool goes live when its server-side pipeline is finished rather than on a schedule. The page you are reading will simply start working.
