About the Format Converter
Zyff's image converter changes photos and graphics between JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, TIFF and GIF, including the HEIC-to-JPG conversion iPhone photos usually need. Drop in up to 25 files at once, pick a target format, and download them one by one or as a single ZIP. Files are re-encoded on Zyff's servers and held in memory only for the length of that one request, so no copy of your photo is kept afterwards.
How to convert an image to JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF

EXIF, IPTC and XMP are stripped by default, so camera and GPS data don't travel with the file. The ICC profile is kept so wide-gamut photos don't shift color.
Resize while converting
An optional max width and height scales images down to fit inside that box, keeping the aspect ratio and leaving anything already smaller untouched.

Frequently asked questions
How do I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone to JPG?
Upload the .heic file, choose JPG, and press Convert. Zyff decodes Apple's HEIC container on the server and hands back a standard JPG that opens in any app, email client or website. EXIF rotation is baked into the pixels during conversion, so portrait shots don't come back sideways.
How do I convert WebP to PNG?
Upload the .webp file, choose PNG, and press Convert — the PNG comes back lossless with any transparency intact. PNG to WebP works the same way, and JPG, AVIF, HEIC, TIFF, GIF and SVG can all go in as well, so any pair among the supported formats is a single step.
How do I convert PNG to JPG?
Upload the PNG, choose JPG, and press Convert. Because JPEG has no alpha channel, transparent areas are flattened onto a background color you pick in the settings panel, which defaults to white. Quality 80 to 90 keeps a photograph looking identical at a fraction of the size, though screenshots and line art usually stay sharper left as PNG.
Does converting to WebP or AVIF make images smaller?
Usually yes. WebP and AVIF are more efficient than JPEG and PNG at comparable visual quality, and AVIF is typically the smaller of the two in exchange for slower encoding. Every row shows the before and after file size, so you can see the real change rather than assume one. Both formats also have a lossless mode.
Can I convert multiple images at once?
Yes. Queue up to 25 files of 25 MB each and they are converted with the same settings, three at a time. Download any single result from its row, or press Download all (.zip) to get the batch as one archive assembled on the server.
Will converting to JPG remove transparency?
Yes, because JPEG has no alpha channel. Transparent areas are composited onto the background color you choose in the settings panel, which avoids the black fringes you get when an encoder flattens alpha on its own. Pick PNG, WebP, AVIF or TIFF if the transparency needs to survive.
Does the converter keep EXIF data and GPS location?
Not by default. EXIF, IPTC and XMP are stripped during the re-encode, so camera settings and GPS coordinates don't travel with the converted file. Turn on Keep EXIF metadata under Advanced if you want them preserved. The ICC color profile is kept by default so wide-gamut photos don't shift color.
Can I convert an animated GIF to WebP and keep the animation?
Yes. Every frame is carried over when the target format can hold more than one, so animated GIF to animated WebP works in both directions. Turn off Keep animation under Advanced to export only the first frame, and any other target format converts the first frame for you.
Is the image converter free, and does it add a watermark?
It is free, needs no signup, and puts no watermark on the output. Files are uploaded to Zyff's API, converted in memory and never written to storage. The only limits are technical: 25 MB and 100 megapixels per image, and 25 files in a batch.
